This course will cover everything essential to raising a well-behaved puppy, such as:
Impulse Control (addresses nipping, jumping, Leave It, etc.)
Attention Skills (Coming when called, responding to name, etc.)
Real World Training (leash training, appropriate greetings, visitors, table manners, vet and grooming, etc.)
Puppy Raising 101 (equipment, setting up your space, etc.)
How to prevent future behavior issues (such as resource guarding and reactivity to strangers and other dogs, separation anxiety, etc.)
Online Puppy Kindergarten is more effective than in-person puppy class.
Both your puppy AND you will learn better in a less distracting environment. Classes usually end up being expensive playdates with you having to train your dog at home anyway.
Socialization should not occur at the same time as training. Plus, socialization is more than just playing with other puppies.
Youโll get ongoing support. You will be able to directly email, call or text as questions come up. You will also be invited to the members only Zen Dog Training Facebook Group in which you can post videos, questions, and access exclusive training resources.
